What does it take to build a psychedelic clothing brand that actually holds up on the dance floor? For Uddhav Pathak, the answer started not in a design studio, but on the grounds of Goa’s psytrance scene – where music, visuals, and fashion blur into a single living environment.

Walla Enterprises has been quietly doing things differently since Pathak first arrived in Goa from Nepal back in 2008. What began as a restaurant manager discovering a world of color and culture eventually became one of the more honest fashion projects to emerge from festival culture anywhere.

From Nepal to Goa – How a Scene Became a Brand

Pathak’s entry into the psytrance world wasn’t planned. Moving to Goa and working in hospitality, he found himself surrounded by a culture where self-expression was woven into everything – including what people wore.

The gap he noticed wasn’t about aesthetics. It was about function. Much of the alternative festival fashion he saw looked striking but fell apart under real conditions – hours of dancing in heat, constant movement, and the physical demands of a full festival weekend. That observation became the seed of Walla Enterprises.

The name itself carries meaning. “Walla” draws from the idea of the maker – the hands-on creator who builds from experience rather than observation. “Enterprises” reflects something larger: a creative ecosystem built around fashion, art, and the alternative lifestyle, not just a clothing line.

Psychedelic Festival Fashion Designed for Real Conditions

What sets Walla Enterprises apart in the festival clothing space is a deliberate focus on wearability. The brand uses fabrics like bamboo and viscose – lightweight, breathable materials that hold up under long hours of movement and heat, which are both still relatively rare choices within alternative fashion.

A Festival Clothing Brand Built Through Festival Presence

Walla Enterprises has stayed close to its roots by selling directly at markets and festival grounds, particularly within Goa’s psytrance circuit. That direct interaction – watching customers engage with fabrics and designs in real time – has shaped the brand’s direction more than any trend report could.

The brand’s festival footprint has been growing steadily. In 2025, Walla products reached Boom Festival through resellers Iboga Ethnics and Limited Medicine. This year, Pathak ran his own stall at the Karakas Marakas Festival in Thailand – a milestone in connecting with an international crowd face to face. Plans are also in place to be present at Ozora Festival in 2026.

Alongside the festival circuit, the brand maintains a presence online through its website, Etsy, and Amazon, supported by organic content that reflects the culture around the brand rather than conventional advertising.

Quality Over Volume – A Long-Term Vision for Psychedelic Fashion

Walla Enterprises isn’t chasing scale for its own sake. The brand produces limited pieces with a strong emphasis on quality – fabric, stitching, and long-term durability – over the kind of volume that tends to dilute identity.

Looking ahead, Pathak’s goal is to build awareness around the importance of what clothing is actually made from. He wants people to understand the material behind what they’re wearing, especially in movement-heavy festival environments where those choices genuinely matter.

The broader vision is to position Walla Enterprises as a globally recognized brand coming out of Goa – one that represents a more refined and functional side of psychedelic fashion, where comfort, quality, and design exist together rather than in competition.
