This guide recaps the 2026 edition, explains the festival’s history and location shift, and lists the Mind Manifest events that are confirmed next, all checked against official Mind Manifest and Back to Nature channels. Last updated: 19 September 2026.
What is Back to Nature Festival?
Back to Nature is a psychedelic trance festival in Turkey organised by the Mind Manifest Project, an independent collective that has been building the Turkish psytrance scene since 2006. According to Mind Manifest, the festival has run since 2010, alongside other projects such as Tree of Life Festival (2012 to 2024), and the collective has organised more than 400 events including over 20 festivals. The stated mission is to bring psychedelic trance culture to Turkey and connect the country with the international festival movement.
Where was Back to Nature Festival 2026 held?
The 2026 edition moved to a new home: Göknar Knidos Nature Hotel at Knidos, Datça, in Muğla province. The organisers described it as a rebirth in a new paradise, a coastline where mountains meet the sea. Earlier editions, including the 2025 listing, were staged at Karagöl Nature Park near İzmir, so 2026 marked a clear change of region.
When did Back to Nature Festival 2026 take place?
The festival ran from Thursday 25 June to Monday 29 June 2026, marketed as the Mind Manifest 20th anniversary edition under the line “A Cosmic Reunion in a New Paradise”. Ticketing was phased, with Phase 2 tickets promoted from May 2026. Artists and attendees posted their own recaps from Knidos and Datça after the event, confirming it went ahead as planned.
Who played at Back to Nature Festival 2026?
The organisers announced the lineup in stages. One of the featured acts was a special three-hour performance by the Serbian artist behind both Imaginarium and Sonic Entity, created for the festival. The programme also included the Mind Manifest resident family, including TMX Mind, whose Mind Manifest Music label and artist roster is listed on the collective’s website. For the complete final lineup, check the official Back to Nature Instagram and Facebook pages, since the festival’s public event pages did not carry a full list.
What can you expect at a Back to Nature festival?
Mind Manifest says its events aim to unite sound, nature and visual art, with in-house DJs, VJs, visual artists, stage designers and decor teams. Expect psychedelic trance across progressive to full-on styles, immersive decoration and a camping-focused atmosphere. Earlier editions also featured art and live painting, workshops and relaxation areas. Specific 2026 facilities, ticket prices and rules should be confirmed with the organisers, as they are not listed on a public page any more.
Is there a Back to Nature Festival 2027?
Not officially yet. Mind Manifest’s own site lists Back to Nature Festival as running from 2010 to 2026 and has not published dates or a venue for a next edition. A May 2026 Instagram caption mentioned “2027”, but it appeared on posts advertising the June 2026 tickets, so we treat it as a typo. Follow the official channels for the announcement.
What is Mind Manifest hosting next?
The confirmed next event is the Halloween Ritual, running three days and three nights from 29 October 2026 at Kayserkaya in Şirince, Selçuk, İzmir. Camping with your own tent is included in the ticket price, limited accommodation (houses, bungalows and rental tents) is available on request, and the full lineup is due on 1 October. Outside food and alcohol are not allowed. Earlier in the season, Mind Manifest also held a spring open air at Kayserkaya on 11 and 12 April 2026, and a Back to Nature After Gathering on 25 and 26 July 2026 at the same venue. Tickets and details are on the official Mind Manifest ticket portal.
How does Back to Nature connect to Tree of Life?
Mind Manifest co-founded Tree of Life Festival in 2012, and the two events grew up in the same Turkish scene. Read our guide to Tree of Life Festival for the history of that side of the story, and for another forest-based trance gathering in Europe see Master of Puppets in the Czech Republic.
